Chocolate cake, new recipe 2020

Ingredients:


250 gr plain flour

250 gr sugar

140 gr melted butter ( I melt it in the microwave)

60 gr of cocoa powder

2 full eggs

180 ml of plain yogurt

1 tea spoon of baking powder

150 ml of whole milk


Procedure:


Whisk the whites of the two eggs.

Mix the yolks with the sugar, add the flour, the baking powder, the cocoa powder, the melted butter, and the milk.

Add the yogurt.

Mix nicely.

Add the whisked eggs, very slowly to maintain air inside.

I pour it all in a silicon mold, it is 28 cm diametre.

In the UK, molds are much smaller so it will be a taller cake compared to mine


Bake in a convection oven 170° C for 30 to 40 minutes, check with your your oven the first time.


Sprinkle with strawberry syrup and add coloured sugar drops. enjoy it and let me know!
